New year, new website.Hi all,
Whilst waiting for some gear to arrive I thought I would redesign my website, cull some photos, and do a general tidy up. I wanted to keep it very simple, add a little bit of interest, and wanted to stay well away from flash. Hence, I have used javascript/mootools to get to the end product I wanted. Nothing overly exciting, because I like simple things. Not a commercial site, or meant to be professional.. just somewhere I can dump my images for my portfolio. http://www.markcrossphotography.com If you hate it, let me know. If you like it, feel free to comment. Apologies if there are any dialup user's left out there, it won't be friendly. Oh.. and don't bother commenting on the thumbnails being a bit skewed.. I'm working on it Cheers http://www.markcrossphotography.com - A camera, glass, and some light.
Re: New year, new website.Hey Mark,
I find it a pain that the thumbs dissapear when you choose one. I like simple board of thumbs plus an enlarged pic, boring but easy to navigate. The home page is great though. Just my 2c Nice pics you have there. Regards Colin Regards Colin

Re: New year, new website. Thanks Colin. I have had the same feedback from other people regarding the thumbnail bar, so will be editing it today so that it stays open unless you close it.
Thanks for the feedback.. appreciate it. http://www.markcrossphotography.com - A camera, glass, and some light.
Re: New year, new website.

Re: New year, new website.Hate to be the fly in the ointment but it seems to not work at all on my Mac running Safari. I get to the pages with thumbnails but have to click the show/hide to get them to show up then clicking on them doesn't bring up the bigger image. I know your reasons for avoiding flash but this solution doesn't seem all that compatible either!
Re: New year, new website.cheers Colin and Jonesy...
Going to work on some code tonight which may fix the issue. Will holla when I need you to test http://www.markcrossphotography.com - A camera, glass, and some light.
