Roll Over at BMF (DUW)

I caught a fairly dramatic roll over at the BMF.

Heres the LINK (this is the media groups website).

The image has been used by the media group promoting the series, and forwarded to the news services. I got a few dollars so far. All good.

I will post larger images when I get a chance.

It was good to catch up with so many of our members; Jeff, Kyle, Michael, TassieD and MCWB . It was a mini meet!

I was on the phone to Kyle when the accident happened. The phone was chucked away and I had to go and find it later.

Sorry about the amount of images, but there are about 40 in the sequence. Thank god for the D2h!!!

Thanks for the comments folks, it really was a case of right place, right time. I was shooting in manual, about 1/250, F/16, about 270mm. I would usually be shooting in shutter priority, but the large white billboard was reflecting to much light and tricking the exposure meter. Un pp'ed all the images are about 1.5 stops undercooked, which is annoying, but they come up ok.

More likely "Oh crap..... we didn't do the recall on the Race Car "

(Bit of background -- there was a recall last year on the 3MPS as an engine mount? was known to fail, leading to the transmission being dropped, car needing tow, etc.......)

I know as I own one.

Great image sequence......

Great shots mate, really were in the right place at the right time. Fantastic sequence. I'm sure the noise would have been just as impressive as the shots are. Thank God that the driver walked away. I'm sure he'll want a copy to hang on the wall.

And the engine mount had nothing to do with the engine falling out. I think it was more being sideways at 250km/h and hitting the kitty litter.
