I'll be there thursday nite for the concert (have an exam durin the day...), during the day thursday, and MAYBE at night but most probs go to the fringe opening party...saturday should be there for the race. I'm gunna go borrow sum lenses from a mate haha...anyone wanna shout me sum media passes or soemthing? haha..

Talking about borrowing lenses, have not shot any photos at Clipsal or any other car event...what should i borrow? Probably one lens or max two would be easiest...

Im thinkingg.... a 300mm F4/l, and maybe a 70-200mm? I'll be shooting through the fence....at this point of time lol, and probably be great to get sum pics at the concert.

Your lucky! They were so tight that even my ride (circulation of 50k (Web hits) a month) Was apparently "Not enough" !!

Whats circulation of your paper?

I don't even think I will bother attending at this stage, I hate shooting thru the fence its a waste of time it seems unless you can get a prime spot!

Mate I'm not sure about the paper circulation the bean counters at the paper filled that stuff in before they sent it off for me (I was night shift), Was the reason for your non acceptance given as a circulation problem??

Mate don't get too bummed still come for a mini meet, meet a few of the faces on here, Shooting through the fence isn't as hard as it looks, we have a couple of good spots.

Taken through fence.

Yeah it was generally worded towards a circulation issue and also something about "limited space" in the media centre (Who the f$#k goes in there though!! LOL)!!

I may still go as I was just offered a bunch of goldies today. It's the first time I have been turned down for media creds in a few years ! Oh well..
The new clipsal outfits look good too, I know a few of the girls that are doing it this year.

I should roll our work scissor lift up to one of the fences that my mate has a property next too  That ought to be high enough to confuse them....

Hi Guys,
I scored both a day off and a great pass for Friday so won't catch up with you on Sat... my lense will be pointing toward the track most of the time unless I spot the 'Clipsal Boys' .. our local radio station has set up an alternative to the 'Clipsal girls' so hoping for a fun shot for our female members

Pity about the cool weather ...although I am not sure the usual dress code is actually weather related ...who knows a few drops of rain may provide some great opportunities around the tight and bumpy curves ...you may even have to rescue a damsal in distress and offer our jacket to warm her up a little - Happy hunting !!

Cheers Deb T

Hi Deb T - you have a great time too.

I am sure that the other guys and me will have an excellent time on Saturday, with the cars and the other distraction...did someone mention,

Well I've finally processed my photos from Saturday.
I can't believe Big V was criticizing the Clipsal girls this year. They seemed nice enough to me... :D
