Hi all,

My first post. Thought I might as well start with a cute one.

Did a model shoot yesterday. These are some of the lingerie shots we took at the end of the day. The others are just fashions and bikini

Hi & welcome. A quick read through the FAQs of this section will show that the maximum images per post is 4. You might want to provide links to those you have posted in excess of 4 before the moderators see you.

Hello Alessiman,
Welcome, hope you enjoy it here. Nice first post and good to see your work. You are sure getting the Ralph/FHM feel in the last image :D
When you read the FAQ you probably missed the 800 pixel limit on image size, I just changed 2 oversize to links till you can downsize them. I am sure you probably already understand the reasons for size limits.
Thanks

Love some of your travel shots, especially the lomo gallery.
To be brutal this pics don't do too much for me.
Your model doesn't look comfortable and the poses look a little forced, I think you need to get her to relax and come out of her shell perhaps build up more report before the camera comes out so she's more comfortable in front. Or it could just be a new and nervous model.

I forgot I even had my travel hots posted there! Must update them one day as I have about 5000 images of trips away sort thru and to post

It was her 3rd model shoot. And yes her movement was very stiff. But she has asked to do another shoot and since we have shot together now. Hopefully she will be a lot more comfortble

I agree with Craigs comments....also the blue background does not work for me.

Have a look at a fellow member "Creativepixels" work....

Hi, and welcome.

These do nothing for me.

She's an attractive young lady, but in these images she may as well be engaged in line dancing, or synchronized drowning, or watching the grass grow, such is the level of interest that seems to be expressed in her face.

There's no smile (there doesn't need to be) but there is no life in her eyes, and that you should have.

Out of curiosity, why did you shoot these images?

One final request if I may (yes, I know ... :) ). It's requirement here that you have a meaningful location in your profile, and just a capital city name isn't considered meaningful. Please alter that so that it, for instance, tells us what suburb you live in. It makes things far easier if and/or when you might need some help from someone.

Hey Vince,

No I have seen his work. The stuff is legendary. I try not to do a lot of PP on my images, though thats no excuse for not having the wrong pose, facial expressions etc on the model. But thats the trade off.

If you look at my other portfolios it's pretty obvious who are models for quite a number of years and who are starting out. The frustrating thing is that a lot of them are great in person but as soon as they are in front of the camera they freeze up. Its all in the learning. I have only been doing this type of shooting for a few months. Still have lots to learn

From our very front page ...

Front page wrote:If you live in a downtown area, please use something like 'CBD Sydney'

So I'd say that you've nailed it. :)

Thank you.

Only to a point. It's still up to you to talk with the model, to get them relaxed in front of you, and in front of the camera. Even with a fresh virgin, so to speak, you should be able to, in talking with them, get them into a more relaxed and comfortable state. Being able to do that should be an essential element in your toolset.
