Oxford FallsJust got a new lens for my 30d, a 17-55 f/2.8 IS USM. Here are some pictures that i took on my first real shoot with the new lens. Tell me what you think - be honest.

Re: Oxford Fallshey nice lense...
this is your best one... looks likes you've worked out how to use photomatix! keep up the great work bro!
Re: Oxford FallsHi James,
Nice shots, the "Waterfall HDR" is fantastic. Where abouts in Oxford Falls is this, eg where do I park and walk from. I'm in Dee Why myself and sure beats going to the Blue Mountains for waterfalls like I did on the long weekend. Cheers Warwick

Re: Oxford FallsI figured out how to post the images in the topic.... you can park your car on the left hand side of the road before you cross the river. Have to bush bash a bit and its awkward with a tripod.

Re: Oxford FallsHey Benny,
the shots that i have taken vary, for example with the HDR shots i bracketed them with an ISO of 100, an aperture of 20 and shutter speed of around 1/2. For the shot of the waterfall with mainly white water I used the same ISO and aperture just a bit slower shutter speed of 0.30. Have a good one...
