Yep.

They've all been sold, I'd say.

But "in the world" ?

With respect, I'd hardly call your sample of suppliers an exhaustive list though. :)

No ... not even that.

Did you try Samy's?

La Cañada Camera?

Fry's?

Abe's?

Ritz?

Midwest Photo Exchange?

And locally ...

ECS?

Michael's?

And I've not even touched any of the larger outlets in Asia and EU.

Truth be told, most of the US sellers I've mentioned - and that you have mentioned - would each, individually - carry more stock than probably any of the local chains that are mentioned, such is (lack of) size of the Oz market place.

Now please don't get me wrong: I'm not saying that this lens is in stock in any of these stores, and it may well be that it is out of stock everywhere. My point is that your search has fallen way short of exhaustive, and for you to state "the whole world" .... sounds almost like a marketing statement to me. :)

Im more worried about a reason for it being out of stock such as a new model comming out then getting hold of one.

Why is that a concern?

You either want - or even need - the specified lens, or you don't. If you do, you find and buy it. If not, the point is moot.

If you are concerned about a possible replacement, might I respectfully suggest the acquisition of a cave somewhere? :)

Replacements are always going to be with us, but if we concern ourselves with them then we will miss a hell of a lot of photographic opportunities while we wait for the next replacement. And the next. And the next.

Accept that the supply channel is imperfect, and just get what you need, as and when you need it.

Obviously the OP didn't check your store, which, I presume, is located somewhere within this world.

Kind of proves my point, I suspect. :)

Well.... considering Grev works at Photo Continental in Brisbane.... I think that is in this world.

And considering their profile as one of the biggest stores in Qld....

But the OP only looked to the big chain stores in Aus & two brand names overseas. Again not many stores.
