North Coast Rally SprintA big thankyou to all those who offerred suggestions for today's rally sprint at Bucca, near Coffs Harbour.
It was hot out there, and dusty. Oh, and did I mention the dust? Had a good time photographing the cars, not nearly as big a field as normal but fun anyway. Here's a few images: President, A.A.A.A.A (Australian Association Against Acronym Abuse)

Re: North Coast Rally SprintHi Ozimax,
are you hapy with the results (photos) I think you've done well. Tell me, the light conditions seem to have been very harsh ? Thanks for sharing, CD
Re: North Coast Rally Sprint BTW,
in dusty conditions like that with a rallye going dirty and dusty I carry plastic bags to cover the camera (put the camera with lens into the bag) when the dust gets blown my way. Cheers, CD
Re: North Coast Rally SprintNor particularly happy with the results, but not too unhappy either (that's Irish I know).
The terrain meant lots of trees/shade/sunlight which made for very hard lighting conditions. The race started out in overcast conditions which was great but then the sun came out. Also, I was in a fairly poor position for photography, but there's not much you can do about that while the race is on - I had to go where the official told me to go! Nevertheless, we had fun!
