Sunrise on the Three Gorges
This image is about a landmark that is about to exist only in the past in the name of progress and modernisation. I am referring to the Three Gorges. The Chinese government is building the world largest dam at Sandouping and when it is finished it will raise the water of the Yangzi River by almost 100 metres taking away the magnificence of the Three Gorges. However, the image below is very much what I saw a misty hot air morning three years ago.

Its a truly stunning image Zafra... so serene looking... and its such a pity that they are going to dam it.. it almost seems criminal to destroy something that is so beautiful...
 The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but it's still on the list...

My boss went there last year and he was so impressed with the nature beauty he saw there... Indeed a pity they decided to dam it... Guess I won't be in time to see it then... Thanks for sharing this beautiful moment...
