my Weekender Two picsTheme 1: ...Long Exposure
This old boat winch has had a long exposure to time and tide... Theme 2: ...Nightscape 30 second exposure lit by the full moon and the lights from the Gold Coast in the distance... Theme 3: ...Vegetable Road side stand... Theme 4: ...Time Clock tower at the marina... Shane

and I'm soooo kicking myself cause I didn't get a chance to take any for the challenge... in my defence though I was stuck on a boat in the middle of the bay (okay Couran Cove Resort) for the weekend.. The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but it's still on the list...

Re: my Weekender Two picsActually I just had a look at your shots again... and I don't suppose you care to share your spot for the palm tree shot by any chance?.. I've been looking for something like this to replicate some long exposure shots I was able to take when I was in England.. but everywhere seems t have too much or not enough ambient light...

Thanks GMD i had to wait until the full moon hit a clear spot in the clouds to get the right light as i was using F4 at 30 seconds

the Calypso Bay Marina is at Jacobs Well. there is a Security Guard who patrols the area and its pretty quiet anyway but if you give me a ring and let me know when your going i can come down and keep the boogy mans away. Shane
