Someone should grab this.

A 35mm - 70mm F2.8. These are excellent professional quality lenses and anyone contemplating a first or additional lens won't go wrong with it. Mine is rarely off the camera...focusses fast and is very sharp.

It is a lens I have been after for 2 years as it would fill the gap between my 17-35 and 80-200 perfectly. However, with a limited photographic budget, I have not got around to it. From reviews comparing this to the 28-70, it does appear a great value for money lens for that focal range.
Regards, Patrick

Two or three lights, any lens on a light-tight box are sufficient for the realisation of the most convincing image. Man Ray 1935.

After seeing Matt's on his D200 - I picked one up, for $400 I think, which is still a great price. I use this lense all the time.
