Just a couple of random portraitsFirst up is this Aboriginal gentleman taking breather in Brisbanes Queen street mall...
Next is my niece Em with her first pet, Molly. would have prefered a less busy background, but you got to take what you can get where kids and animals are concerned.... Ohh... for my own studio Last edited by Bugeyes on Sun Feb 24, 2008 11:14 pm, edited 3 times in total.

Re: Just a couple of random portraitsLove the first one - great colours and background. The second is nice too, with eye contact from both the puppy and Em.

Re: Just a couple of random portraitsThanks for the compliments.
Any thoughts on this second crop..? Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I have my doubts about the former.

Re: Just a couple of random portraitsI prefer it your new crop. IMHO the yellow was a little distracting from the main point which is his face.

Re: Just a couple of random portraitsI also prefer the second crop... both are lovely portarits though.. I suspect that the shot of your neice and Molly will be treasured forever...
The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but it's still on the list...
Re: Just a couple of random portraitsI agree, the second crop is better (Bindii I seem to be following your posts today and agreeing with them. Perhaps we are in synch!!)

Well we are either in sync ...or your stalking me... The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but it's still on the list...
Re: Just a couple of random portraitsI prefer the second crop, and really like the second image of Em and Molly, perhaps a very mild (lens or guassian blur) on the background to help reduce the distractions in the background might help ?
Re: Just a couple of random portraitsFirst pic is suffering from a bit of red eye
Re: Just a couple of random portraitsYeah, much prefer the second crop - great image.
