Froggies GaloreSpent an hour at Roma Street parklands today. Little Froggies Galore!
You find the other keepers here ...http://www.turnbulls.net.au/Images/Flora%20and%20Fauna/index.htm love to hear your comments and suggestions.
Re: Froggies GaloreLove the first one. Great work
Re: Froggies GaloreIMHO, the background of the 1st photo is quite distracting and the 2nd photo is lack of a main subject to look at (may I suggest for flower photography, try to shoot the flowers in different angles such as really close up, sideway, same level with the flower, ant-view as the one in my avatar, etc). Once you're in this type of macro mode, you really need to get down and dirty.
GL!!!
Re: Froggies GaloreWow, first one is great, composition works for me.. Don't mind the BG myself.

Re: Froggies GaloreLove the composition of the first one.
We get many great "frog" images on this Forum and it's great to see a different perspective. The background provides an interesting juxtaposition i.e. "nature" vs "the concrete jungle". Lovely colours in the shot of "cosmos". I would have liked to have seen all of the flower in the front, making it the focus of the picture. Nikon D700 D300
Re: Froggies GaloreLike the first one, in my opinion the background makes the shot!
Cheers What's another word for "thesaurus"?
Re: Froggies GaloreThanks for the comments/suggestions... taken on board.
Re: Froggies GaloreI have to go with the 'love the frog shot' crowd
Maybe just a slightly quicker shutter speed though ??? Could be me, but there seems to be a little bit of movement/blur around the edge of the frog, but regardless, I like the play between the 2 Dodging and burning are steps to take care of mistakes God made in establishing tonal relationships! -Ansel Adams
