Model Shoot: Ashleigh

Been a while since ive posted some model work, but i got the oppertunity to work with the amazing ashleigh again!

Love the last one thats spot on

Facial in the first is off (something i struggle with every shoot lol)

The rest are great too well done, lighting looks a litle flat maybe more contrast but over all great stuff and again your getting better and better with every shoot:)

Nice work Matty .... what is the light source that you are using for them? I am figuring that you are using a portable strobe into softbox but I am also guessing that you are using an assistant to make sure that it does not blow over or get wet. Managing light outdoors is my biggest challenge, usually because I prefer to work without an assistant. Good work anyway.... Ants

The second one is great. You've done well to get a great exposure on it. She certainly is an attractive model.

he uses Alien Bees 1600 i believe with a softbox or he just got a ring flash

silly question, do you think the silly tilted angles work? or have none of you noticed

for this shoot i used my ab1600 with a large softbox to expose the model. but yes, definately need an assistant. i attempted a shoot without one, and the end result was a ruined light

I actually found them a little distracting (the angles), I felt like I needed to tilt to my head. Although (here is my contradiction) it seems to add to the image somehow, making it more dynamic maybe. . .

I like the angles - makes them seem less like snapshots, I think. (OK, there's a lot of elements that we see which stop them being snapshots, but for the general public, I think they work well.)

Matty- I didn't notice the angles, so I couldn't have found them too off-putting the first time around.

Looking over them again now, I think they suit the mood of the photos.

They're all good, but the second is my favourite. It just has that "x factor".
