Re: Jeff's 'new' toyIt's a wobblecombobulator I think... President, A.A.A.A.A (Australian Association Against Acronym Abuse) Canon EOS R6, RF 24-105 F4, RF 70-200 F4, RF 35mm F1.8, RF 16mm F2.8 "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." (John 8:32)
Re: Jeff's 'new' toyOne of the side effects of last Saturday's efforts, I presume. Looks a bit like a Linhoff, but it's not. The rear end looks too small for a 4x5 .... Do tell all And congratulations. g. Re: Jeff's 'new' toyCalumet , maybe a 5x7? Robert EOS 5D Mk II, 24-70 f2.8, 70-200f4 IS, 50 f1.8, 100 macro, 300D (IR Mod)
Re: Jeff's 'new' toyIts a Calumet 4x5, is a CC401, I think it is a 60's vintage... The lens is a Carl Zeiss Jenna tessar f 4.5 13.5 cm in a compur shutter, google has lead me to believe that it is a pre-WWII lens. It came with 2 double film holders Edit: Did some more research looks like the lens was produced in 1925
Re: Jeff's 'new' toyThat thing is fantastic! I would hate to think how much is cost. I can see now the headlines in the newspaper "angry partner kills other half with a Calumet 4x5 CC401 fitted with a Carl Zeiss Jenna tessar f 4.5 13.5 cm". Seriously, I am looking forward to see the images this camera produces.

First of all, love that large format! Second of all, you sound like this other guy who got a bunch of pocket wizards and when his wife asked he said... "It's a second hand walkie talkie I got from a garage sale." "They're cheap so they don't work so well."
