I've had a hard time sorting through my photos and especially picking any to share, but here is a mixed bag of shots all showing something different from Cairo please critique away, and I'd love to know how you think I can improve these.

Craig, absolutely love the simplicity of the first and like the second but feel I should like it more. Possibly the very high highlights of light distract, I am really not sure but I want to like it more than I do. Should I call you Mr Cartier Bresson for the fourth?

#1 has got my vote for sure :) Everything about it is great, especially the tones. #3 is also a nice shot. Not sure why I like #4, but I do.

Yes, twice! The second time I ran away from the crowds to the Coptic area the first (I spent 4 hours wandering around inside).

Craig - I think your compositional skills make #1 - it could easily be an ordinary shot, but your framing make the most of both the colours and the scene. #2 shows a great eye for detail - the streaming light really makes this shot. #3 by contrast is a little lacking in punch. As for #4 - maybe Leigh will like it

Especially #1. Looks Egyptianish.
