24-70 mm Nikon 2.8 - Any stock anywhere?

Dan, I got mine from a Hobart camera store. They ordered thru Nikon Aus and it took about 8 weeks to arrive. Some retailers have them on their on line ordering facility, but when you look into it in more detail they don't necessarilly have stock or any realistic idea on when they'll get stock. All you can do is keep shopping around until you're fortunate enough to find one or wait until they become more available.

George's Wynyard (the one in york st i think it is). Ask for Elliot but ring beforehand as they may have sold it. there's a 14-24 there the last time i checked though.

Ok about two weeks ago I was told there were no stock Australia wide and was also told the shipments that Nikon Australia gets comes in the middle of every month. But we don't have them yet either.
