PP the taj mahal

Hi the missus just spent a few weeks in India.

Wondering whether I could get some advice on PP options. Shot with an Ixus 70 I know but I was hoping I could make a nice print out of it for here. So crops and PP advice welcome.

Do you mind us posting our own version?

The main things it needs are Contrast and Saturation. I myself would also crop a bit from the sides and top, and clone out the bird(?).

Such a beautiful place and I'm sure a print would look awesome..

I agree with Pehpsi. I might also try and straighten out a bit of the lens perspective.

Hey Deadgoose - tell you other half it is a nice shot
The thing that really really irked me about the shot were the leaning towers, so the first thing to do is a bit of perspective correction, and then a bit of levels adjustment, with a saturation layer to bring out the greens in the grass etc. I've probably gone a bit far, but I'm really tired (looked down a microscope all day), so the eyes are kind of playing tricks .. but something like this : (edited version - I think the previous was too yellow )

Thanks Blackandstormy - re the leaning towers, they are actually built to be leaning out so if they fall they dont hit the main structure. The Ixus distorted them all the way back in.

Thanks for the image, I like the whiteniing of the building.

the great thing from the feedback is that there is hope for the image, when I have time I will have a go on the original and see how I go.
