Radio Popper

Thought this may be of interest to many forum members regarding wireless triggering. Sounds very interesting and useful, if it works reliably. :)

Well this gadget supposedly do TTL as well, so it's good, and there are a few models to choose from as well. :)

I don't think they will be available here for a while... they are taking pre-orders but that is inside USA, canada they are in the process of being certified for use and then I think it will slowly be certified for other frequencies around the world - so Im thinking not for a couple of months.

Unless you know someone in the states you'll most likely have to wait :(

It's very unlikely (in the short-term) that the RP people are too worried about the non-US frequencies, so you'd be using illegal frequencies here with the US ones. (Same as if you buy the US-freq. PocketWizards.)

Sales price on the AU units is yet to be determined but it should be similar to the US price structure.

That will be a first.

They say the STRUCTURE will be similar, not the prices themselves
That means the P1 will be dearer than the junior, but cheaper than the P8. It doesn't mean the P1 will be about $200. Hope I'm proven wrong though.
