muslin 2.6m wide

Hey, i bought a background stand from ebay and i just realised that its only 2.6m wide (3m tall)

Is that a standard size ill be able to get backdrops from easily?

There is a very simple answer - if you bought a backdrop stand then you will be able to buy backdrops for it :wink:

my paper backgrounds are 2.72m carboard rolls, you would need to saw off a few inches, but you are not usually photographing the edge.

, fabrics you could cut, or fold.

are you sure its 2.6m?

Most of the backdrop paper I know and see are 2.75m.

What are some homemade options i could use to get 2.6m wide, also where could i buy a crossbar that is 3m wide?

if you are using fabric backgrounds, just bunch it at one side, no moditications required.

if the paper roll you get is the normal 2.72 or 2.75 m, then cut 12-15cm off with a cutting tool (Knife, scissors, hand saw, power saw, butter knife, guts from a kit lens, teeth, claws, fangs, meat cleaver, jigsaw, bandsaw, coping saw, laser, water cutter, guilotine, prayer...) :D

manfrotto 314 kit, or ebay equivalent.

There are Kast backdrop stands and also Premier ones as well.
