No Sale - D2xs

Postby Andyt on Sun Mar 30, 2008 8:37 pm

I was watching the following on http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Nikon-D2Xs-Body-Only-Digital-Camera_W0QQitemZ270222761198QQihZ017QQcategoryZ43453QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

And I was surprised that there were no bids as it was listed at $2K, 50K shutter actuations, seems in reasonable order.

I am getting used to how quick the "latest & greatest" in technology is next years "boat anchor" but geez, the D3 must be good!

I notice the seller did not offer PayPal, that may have turned a potention buyer away?

Probably the answer is that a brand new D300 is the same price..and most are saying that it is as good, if not better, than a D2Xs. And you get a pop up flash and live view.

oh... economics, its so predictable...

i thought it would take to mid year, but looks like the sub $2k D2xs price point may be a little early this year, maybe its got to do with climate change... we did have that moronic "lights out" night yesterday...
