Activ Foundation annual ball - a few young ladiesG'day
I had a chance to shot a fashion parade at a charity fundraiser the other day, not something I'd ever tried before and I certainly don't have the right sort of gear either. Still, I had a bit of fun whilst doing it. The main fashion parade took place with two smoke machines billowing clouds of fog. I haven't worked out how to PP the images to overcome the fogginess yet, so any ideas or advise would be appreciated. These are a few other snaps from the night. There was a 'Kylie impersonator' I thought one of the make-up girls had a beautiful face The 'presenter' did her job And some of the crowd boogied the night away Cheers
Bob in sunny Perth What gear? Watch this space!
Re: Activ Foundation annual ball - a few young ladiesBob, i use the exposure offset to -50 to -250 to cut through the haze.

Re: Activ Foundation annual ball - a few young ladies#2 for me Bob, despite the hair light (light on the hair?) being a bit hot. BTW, in your avatar, did you have to photoshop clothes on to it? Just wondering
cheers, juice
http://www.flickr.com/photos/mickeyjuice/ A bunch of Canon stuff (including Canon & Sigma lenses). Way more gear than talent.
Re: Activ Foundation annual ball - a few young ladies3# and 4# for me... Like the colours in 3 and the expression in four however suppose the lighting could be stronger but you can't do much in the candid situation....

Okay, I know I'm a bit slow sometimes, but this question totally eludes me. My avatar is photo of me as a child, and I don't use Photoshop.
