Vigorous discussion of the images and techniques is welcome and encouraged. Criticism of any mod for their choice is not. This week's PotW is a fine example of some old school B&W work from Stubbsy. Old school because it reminds me of the B&W work which really excited my interest in photography in the early seventies, all about style, drama and form. And of course the legendary types of film in use, Kodak's fantastic 400 ASA Tri-X and my personal favourite Agfapan 100. Peter's shot showcases the new B&W CF Card technology to great effect, in particular the Tri-X card if I am not mistaken. Great shot Peter, love your work. Thread (with more B&W goodness) here

Wow, I thought that my Tri-X days were behind me. I'll have to get one of those cards! Great pic, Stubbsy.

Great shot and choice.
I have some Tri-X filum in the fridge waiting to be developed - hopefully they come out with that same, beautiful contrast.

what's film ? As Pauline Hansen would say "please explain"
Nice shot though, whatever sort of weird CF card you have. Lovely perspective and composition.
