I didn't even know it was possible.
Mind you, now that I know it is, I'm not sure it'd bring all that much of a value to your shots... however... I did find these: http://hometown.aol.com/wdshpbiz/AImod.html http://www.zi.ku.dk/personal/lhhansen/p ... /aimod.htm http://home.carolina.rr.com/headshots/NikonFAQ.htm Producer & Editor @ GadgetGuy.com.au

Use a small screwdriver? Jack Merry ph 02 9416 1985 or 0402 404 847 advertises non ai to ai conversions for $49.95, don't know about ai to p though. You can always use it as a ai lens manually to you find a p converter if he doesn't do it, or send it to the states. Lots of postage, check the economics with that option. What lens is it?
yeah, i was thinking of keeping it just ai for the moment. but there is a dealer here in melbourne that does cpu chips for about 175$.
i bought that old 50-300 f/f4.5 it was cheap something to try out. never had a non-ai lenses before. does Jack Merry have a website or email address? not sure if i want to send it to syd. Life's pretty straight without drifting

just a word of warning with those conversions. you may not be able to fully open the aperture with your d70, unless you use a f5 or something with an aperture ring override. as the metering coupling doesn't fully open.
