First Wedding - 2nd PhotographerWow! what an experience! - Did this as a favour for a friend who shoots film. He asked me to be the 2nd photographer and go nuts with the digital.
I learned heaps on the day and had a much nicer time than I expected Some pics - any tips would be much appreciated! 7D, 60D, 70-200mm f/4LIS, 17-50mm f/2.8, 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5, 50mm f/1.4, 100mm f/2.8 Macro, 580EX II
Re: First Wedding - 2nd PhotographerNice work, I'm a fan of the 3rd.
Only thing I would suggest is that he is in to much shadow in contrast to her? D80, D90 | SB600 | 18-200 VR | 80 400 VR | 18-135 DX AF-S, 70-300 AF, 50 1.8 | Lotz of other bitz
Re: First Wedding - 2nd PhotographerThanks Cory - Good point about the shadows.

Re: First Wedding - 2nd PhotographerI like No 4.
Suggestion for improvement - dropping the ambient a bit (say 1.5 stops), and adding a bit of flash would perk this shot up no end! Also using a larger aperture would give more subject isolation. Cheers What's another word for "thesaurus"?
Re: First Wedding - 2nd PhotographerGood compositions. All the portraits might have benefited from some fill light on the subjects.

Re: First Wedding - 2nd PhotographerAgree with the fill light suggestion (which can be done with photoshop since you can't reshoot)
Re: First Wedding - 2nd PhotographerThanks for the comments all, much appreciated.
