Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Sunday Sunrise at Point Cartwright

Met with Slider at Point Cartwright for sunrise this morning.
I am not traditionally an early riser but this was worth the effort and it was a great opportunity for me to try out the Singh-Ray's and Lee filter holder and I used the reverse Grad ND together with C-Polariser for all these shots.

Bob,
I like the last one best. In the first one it seems the CPL would have had to be on the foreground.
Cheers,

Nice series of shots Bob.
The sunrise looked great from on the hill this morning as well, lots of mist in the valleys. No shots as I was in the truck on the way to work.

Great stuff Bob. I particularly like the different aspect with the pandanus. :D

I just printed one of mine on the paper you gave me. Wow, very nice indeed.
Cheers

A few tweaks here and there; 10% violet filter to give that crisp morning glow; took a few bracketed shots and merged skys and foregrounds (not HDR)
Hope that helps you

Thanks Mark - I prepared mine for print at 16" x 26" and have about six that will come up a treat on this Harman Baryta Gloss Paper.
