Reaching for the SunA little (10mm) flower reaching up towards the sun. While wandering around my garden looking for bugs etc, I saw the sun hitting this flower.. really liked the natural effect.
Cheers -Mark http://www.markcrossphotography.com - A camera, glass, and some light.
Re: Reaching for the SunI like this effect too... the only downfall for me is that the stem disapears into the background... (but thats on my work monitor so it may not be the case)... its a very effective image though...
The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but it's still on the list...
Re: Reaching for the SunLike how the background being black really makes the flower stand out and shine.

Re: Reaching for the SunThankyou Sue and JDear....
Sue .. the stem does blend into the background, but not as strongly on my calibrated monitor compared to my work one. http://www.markcrossphotography.com - A camera, glass, and some light.
