Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Vibrant colour and nicely executed (not the ducks - pleeeeeeze).

I would submit photo #3 to the UFO society - they can wet themselves over the death star caught in all of its brilliance

I really dig the 2nd and 3rd one. Especially the 3rd one. The color and isolation of the floatie plus the interesting white texture really pulls the shot together

Lol isn't it funny how sometimes the most simple things make the best pictures.. everyone seems to like the floatie image...

I should fess up though and admit that I didn't originally think of photographing it - there were some fish jumping out of the water near there and I was focusing in preperation on the waters surface for one to jump when I spotted the floaty thingy..

Thanks for your comments guys.. much appreciated... :)

Hi Sue,

It's probably my crappy monitor at work, but 1, 3, 4 look to have really blown highlights. The exposure in 2 looks spot on though.
#2 is my favourite, I like the lizard's expression and colours. Sorry about it but #3 doesn't do it for me, I don't think there is an arty bone in my body. :(

Cheers
John
