Anyone want to catch up @ the zoo tomorrow

I'm off to the city tomorrow .My wife has an Dr appointment @ 3pm & i have a business appointment first thing in the morning so thought havent been to the zoo for ages so if any one is free i will see you there usual place lol

I have a 'RDO' on Friday of this week, and more than likely be there from about 11am until closing time and again on Sunday...woohoo.

Hi guys,
wouldn't you believe it I was there today .. the new female tiger was in the 'males' enclosure for the first hour this morning - talking to the keeper he tells me they are introducing her for a short while each morning - I got a few shots of her on the herb/lavendar patch by the big rock near the water - had to shot through the glass and playing with my new 70-200 L IS

The older female was not let out into the other enclosure until the new girl was put back (around 10:30ish) and to my delight was given a huge bone on her rock ...so I got a few shots off there but a bananna leaf obsured it partly (and kids everywhere)

Back in the water enclosure when the old male was let around 12ish he was fairly active re marking his territory

The keeper mentioned they were feeding the male on the water rock on the changeover in the afternoon but had to leave before then

Haven't really sorted through my shots as yet and suspect more duds than winners as I was finding the F2 quite different to work with and played a lot with differnet settings.

Sorry I cant make it Thursday as I'm taking Karl to Anguston for the lego but let me know what time Friday and I'll work it in.
