No!! I don't think you have overcooked PP at all with these - in fact I think you have done an excellent job with it.

Oh! and very creative pics- well done, again

They were taken with twoi different camera's and lenses.. I think (I'll double check exif data when I get home from work).. but from memory the first and last ones were snapped with the Fuji S5pro and the 18-200 VR nikon lens.. and the others with the Canon 20D and the 10-20mm Sigma lens..

Hope that helps.. :)

These are hilarious and no, you haven't overdone the PP bit. Horses are such majestic creatures, but it's good to sometimes view them in a lighter way (lighter as in funny). Am I making sense here? Horse sense? In the mane I think I am....better stop now.

Keep on with this stuff and we'll all end up un-stable.

Gary, I board the big steel bird next Wednesday courtesy QF, heading for SFO, LA, San Diego, Fresno, Sacramento, Santa Rosa, Yosemite then Atlanta, Flint (Michigan), Cleveland, Charlotte and Phoenix. NO stops are planned in Bakersfield and San Bernadino.. I'm shattered!

Enjoy your sojourn abroad and avoid Starbucks unless absolutely necessary.

By Wednesday I'll be N'Awlins, and interviewin' peoples, and gettin' all jazzfested up. :)

And Crawfish are in season too. :) :)

Here's something for while you're in the LA area. :)

Make sure you pay your respects to Ernest and Julio as you travel from Fresno to Sacramento, and do make sure you visit the rail museum in Sacramento.

Enjoy your sojourn abroad and avoid Starbucks unless absolutely necessary.

Thanx, and you your's.

Ooh I'm so jealous that you two are off on holidays.. *cries*...

I have to wait till August till I gets to go anywhere exciting (Germany, Portugal, Spain and Italy)... *perks*

although if its counts I'm off to Melbourne this weekend for a few days.. *cries again cause I'd rather it be over the water somewheres*

Have a great time guys... take loads of pictures.. and don't forget to post em when you gets back... :)

Oh and Skumar... yep some of these have had HDR among other stuff applied to them.. don't ask what though cause I was on my 4th Gin and Tonic when I started editing and I haven't the faintest as to what happened next... ;)

Who said anything about holidays? :) I have three scheduled days off in 3 weeks, but we'll still manage to have some fun along the way.

2# is a an absolute corker! Well done with the PP as well as the initial capture. Is this single shot 'HDR'?

Sue,
As you say "just playing", I am not a fan of this type of pp. #2 would be my pick with less pp.
Cheers,

I love #2 and 3, great effects. I want a lens like this!
#4 looks a bit overdone in the middle (to me) but still a great image.

Is this a tried and true method of PP? Think I will give it a go

Very creatively handled Sue. Love 'em, though the horse looks more like a mule in the last one  Terrific captures and i think the PP'ing perfectly suits the images
