D50 and kit glass in the hands of a 9 year old.Taken by my son Sam.
No adjustments at all, just re-sized jpeg's straight from the camera, what chance do I have? If you're interested, you can see some more of his work here. Mark

Re: D50 and kit glass in the hands of a 9 year old.Mark, I recently purchased a D70 at a fair price to let me 10 and 8 yr olds play. They come up with some interesting stuff at times..
A different perspective.. MATT

Re: D50 and kit glass in the hands of a 9 year old.Yes, quite impressive that. I always wondered whether a PHD DSLR might be better for kids than a proper P&S. I reckon it's harder to drop/lose and less prone to fingers in front of lens or flash. I might have a look around for my 11 y.o. while I'm still an eBay member...
Which one, the Canon or the Fuji? Cheers Steffen. lust for comfort suffocates the soul

You and Peta should be proud of Sam - he's done well with these. #2 and #3 grab me the most. #1 is a little too busy and I find the out of focus foreground a bit distracting, but getting a cat to sit still is an achievement in itself. #3 shows especially good use of depth Of field and is my fave here.
