Curves of BrisbaneHi all,
these are a few semi-abstracts I shot in Brisbane last August but only got around to PP now. They're all about curvy architectural details that caught my eye. ... ... Critique and comments on these much appreciated! Cheers Steffen. lust for comfort suffocates the soul
Re: Curves of BrisbaneNumber ons is my favourite... lighting is great and the B&W works well
#2 - I would clone out the bright stripe of sunlight under the bridge as I find it a bit distracting. #3 - I find the bollards in the foreground really work well to draw the eye into the picture, but find the clearway signs etc a bit distracting. overall, if curves was the theme you did a great job of capturing some!
Re: Curves of BrisbaneHi rangie,
thanks for your comments. I thought about the sun ray and traffic sign, but couldn't decide whether they're distracting or interesting That and the fact that I don't normally do cloning or local edits (other than spot patching), I try to get away with global adjustments. Cheers Steffen. lust for comfort suffocates the soul

Re: Curves of BrisbaneAbsolutely! Heh, you could have totally torn my pics apart, I'd still consider myself lucky to get even one comment these days...
