Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. HomeworkI love Stephens concentration in this and the colours By the way, I consider this the sharpest portrait shot I have ever taken. The resize may not do it justice. All courtesy of the little Nikkor 50 1.8 Last edited by kiwi on Wed Apr 23, 2008 1:36 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Re: HomeworkI have a black background when looking at this forum. The huge white border on your image is very distracting and I find myself looking at the border not the image. When I force myself to focus on the image it is great, I love the coloues and the sharpnes, then I start looking at the white page and his writing then I look at the border.
Sorry but I must be a moth, I am drawn to the light.
Re: Homeworkoh really, a black background ? I did not know that you could change it.
Mines a light blue/grey, so I can see why the white border would be distracting on yours, certainly not my intent. Darren

Re: HomeworkOh, and removed the border on the picture
Now, quick question, why do I have little red x boxes on the page (eg just left of the word portal at the top) Darren

Re: HomeworkNice shot, I like how the concentration shows on the face.
Yes, me too. I'm guessing the Nikon theme is missing a few images. Cheers Steffen. lust for comfort suffocates the soul
Re: Homework
So its all blurry then?.. Great dof on this subject... love the look of concentration on his face! The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but it's still on the list...
