Re: Newtown candidit's a shame about those bike racks being where they are!
fantastic shot otherwise! i'm still undecided between the colour and black and white...maybe something that is near black and white, but with a subtle hint of colour? something subtle and washed out maybe? Re: Newtown candidHeh yeah, I tried to go for a sort of dreamy BW look but I don't think it came off
Here's the washed out version Josh suggested D3 | 18-200VR | 50:1.4 | 28:2.8 | 35-70 2.8 | 12-24 f4

Re: Newtown candidsomething along those lines...i think...what do you think. i'm trying for an ethereal feel. Canon 400D | Sigma 18-200mm f3.5-6.3 DC OS | 50mm f1.8 | 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 | Sigma EF-530 DG SUPER ETTL-II

Re: Newtown candidJustin - love the full colour version but if I may suggest a crop. Crop down to just above the yellow circle and crop out the left hand edge to remove the door and the bike stand. This, IMO, would give a powerfully balanced pano.

Re: Newtown candidI must admit I do like the 'ethereal' feel to Joshmans PP, the contrast seemed a bit harsh in the original.
It's a nice shot. (I wonder if he's looking up lotto results?) D90, 50 mm 1.8, 18-70 mm, Sigma 10-20 mm, SB600
Re: Newtown candidgreat shot and I love it in some form of colour...desat or not
Re: Newtown candidAs per Chris' suggestion (which I like, getting away from that whole dream drama):
About 2 seconds before this shot, he wet his finger and smoothed down an eyebrow. That would have been a nice candid! and as a 10x15 D3 | 18-200VR | 50:1.4 | 28:2.8 | 35-70 2.8 | 12-24 f4

Re: Newtown candidThe 10x15 is spot on Justin, better than the pano
