OH OH! D200 does not focus anymore

Intermittent focus problems with all lenses. Looks like a trip to the camera doctor. I gather Poraday at Bondi is the recommended repair shop? Anyone else had this problem?

Prob a stupid question, but have you tried cleaning all the terminals on the lens ring etc?

I would find this a good excuse to buy more camera

Does it even try to hunt for focus? or no response at all?

Just set the switch back to S or C:





Sorry, I feel for you, I had the AF module in my D2H replaced not long ago, and it was *expensive*.

Apologies for hijacking your thread but this reminds me to ask about my D300's focus selector switch (C,S,M) sometimes gets stuck at M..
It seems to happen mostly at either extreme of the len's focus scale/range (non AF-S lenses)
Any suggestions for this problem?

Hope the repair for you isn't too costly D200s are quite cheap now..
