Focus stacking for macro

lotsa macro shooters here so i thought i'd ask the question, has anyone tried this technique ? if so did you have any success ? I'm a huge fan of Lord V on flickr and recently tried his focus stacking technique with terrible results. my PP skills are just not a match for this technique unfortunately. lol

Yes, it works... and much more work involved than getting a macro lens, but it is fun and you can get much closer in magnification than macro lens.

And reversing a lens, also works and its tedious but fun. :lol:
