Re: FamilyI'm not sure if you meant to post 3 pics as I get the word "image" at the top. Anyway, I love the first one (the girl by the river). It looks old fashioned. How did you pp these, if you don't mind me asking?

Re: Family
I've accidently deleted the first image and won't be able to get it back until tonight (at home). The PP was done (mainly) in lightroom...using one of the presets in the develop section, which then I exported and tweaked a bit more in PSCS3. Geoff

Re: FamilyBeautiful pics and very fitting PP. Especially like the first with the water and reeds.

Re: FamilyLove the first!
Re: FamilyGreat stuff, Geoff. The first is particularly good and has an ageless quality to it.

Two or three lights, any lens on a light-tight box are sufficient for the realisation of the most convincing image. Man Ray 1935. Our mug is smug
Re: FamilyReally like the first one as well.... the girl is nicely framed by the reeds and I like how the water behind her blurs out ...
Re: FamilyGeoff
Like the others I think you've nailed it with #2 - composition is great as is the treatment. Good to see you avoiding B & W too #3 I find a little frustrating because I want your niece looking at the camera. Peter
