Beer o'clockShot for a CIT folio.
Im really starting to like product photography. This was shot with a Medium format digital back on a digiflex II body with nikon 28-70. Shot inside a light tent with one flash head directly above the tent. http://flickr.com/photos/jamesthomsonphotography/

Re: Beer o'clockThis would have so great if there was just a little more reflection of the beer in the chrome. However nice clean image ..
MATT
Re: Beer o'clockI really like the overall sharpness and strong contrast here. D90, 50 mm 1.8, 18-70 mm, Sigma 10-20 mm, SB600
Re: Beer o'clockI think it would look better with a glass filled with the beer. Also the bottle needs to be positioned so the label is more centred.
Re: Beer o'clock
unfortunatly the light tent i was using was TINY, it would only just fit both items in at 28mm so i couldnt really move much forward or backwards http://flickr.com/photos/jamesthomsonphotography/

Re: Beer o'clock
The actual subject is the beer mug. Its for a folio on reflective objects so the beer bottle is really only there to add to the mug. I twisted the bottle slightly to get a bit more of a reflection in the mug. http://flickr.com/photos/jamesthomsonphotography/

Re: Beer o'clockmaybe consider cloning out the black lens reflection in the mug?
