PP DilemmaCan't decide on this one. Is it better with the black and white or colour treatment - or do you think it's crap regardless

Re: PP Dilemmathe tight crop does not leave much to work with........ but I would add a lot more contrast just to see if it adds more interest to the image
Cheers ....bp....
Difference between a good street photographer and a great street photographer.... Removing objects that do not belong... happy for the comments, but .....Please DO NOT edit my image..... http://bigpix.smugmug.com Forever changing
Re: PP DilemmaHonestly Peter,
Neither of these shots do 'it' for me. For a Sydney night shoot, this could be anywhere and whilst the cloud formation is the best thing about the image..I think it is somewhat lack lustre - I know u can handle the crit Geoff
Special Moments Photography Nikon D700, 50mm 1.4, 85mm 1.4, 70-200 2.8VR, SB800 & some simple studio stuff.
Re: PP DilemmaPeter, I'm with the others on this one.
Personally I think this would have been the better photo __________
Phillip **Nikon D7000**
Re: PP DilemmaHi Peter,
I think the color photo has much better definition in the mid / mid-shadow tonal area than your conversion to BW. If you can manage to get the same tonal variety in grey scale, that photo would also be good in BW. It was also said regarding being a Sydney shot, I agree – the photo could have been taken anywhere. HTH, CD
Re: PP DilemmaI am with the colour one.
Re: PP DilemmaI prefer the crop suggestion by phillipd
Re: PP Dilemmacolour version, however crop out the water as it's only a sliver and doesn't really add to the image.
Hassy, Leica, Nikon, iPhone
Come follow the rabbit hole...
Re: PP DilemmaHi Peter,
I think Phillip nailed it. Definitely b&w for me. Alex
