Photos of 'BUZDBY' Mazda RX3Hey all,
Just want some of your thoughts on a few snaps over the weekend. Thanks. Balabka Design - For All Your Automotive Photography Needs.
Re: Photos of 'BUZDBY' Mazda RX3wow nice machine
May i suggest a few shots with a nicer DOF Canon EOS 40D
Canon EOS 400D 50mm 1.8 EF
Re: Photos of 'BUZDBY' Mazda RX3Wooo... gorgeous colours!
The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but it's still on the list...
Re: Photos of 'BUZDBY' Mazda RX3Nice colour and all, but why the location? Dump trucks? Orange pipes? Construction sites? A distraction for me, too much so I'm afraid.
Would like to see a better location for such a subject, and perhaps a fixed headlight if I wanted to be real picky. Sure looks like the car's in good nick though. Straight from the paint shop? Share what you know, learn what you don't.

Re: Photos of 'BUZDBY' Mazda RX3Oh ok. Any suggestions on where you would like to see this car? The paint job is actually a couple of years old.

Re: Photos of 'BUZDBY' Mazda RX3
Somewhere bland... so it doesnt distract our attention from the car... concrete walls behind maybe... an industrial site (as in factory)... I love the paddle idea with the reflection.. that adds to it.. or perhaps you could go opposite and head for a green feld somewhere.. The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but it's still on the list...
Re: Photos of 'BUZDBY' Mazda RX3As long as the customer is happy, then that's all that matters..
Regarding DOF, you could always add a slight blur to the BG to put all of the focus on the car. Nikon D70

Re: Photos of 'BUZDBY' Mazda RX3i really like the location. as for being distracting, just adding more distance between the car and say, the dump truck, and having the dump truck more out of focus would really clean it up.
from what i can see it looks like the majority of them were taken from around standing hight and as with the second image, they would look stronger from a lower view point. saying that though, these are very nice images, very sharp indeed and i like the thought behind the nice bright blue of the car jumping of the earthy colours of the scene, works very nicely in my opinion. Re: Photos of 'BUZDBY' Mazda RX3Thanks forthe comments. Ive done plenty of photoshoots against concrete walls and industrial areas. I find the photos very boring, plain and it looks as if the car has just been thrown there for a slap together shoot. I tried something different on this shoot.

Re: Photos of 'BUZDBY' Mazda RX3Nice pics and all in shoot three you could have got that truck to move as its a bit of a distraction otherwise photos are A1
Nice car by the way is that yours???
Re: Photos of 'BUZDBY' Mazda RX3I like them!! The dump truck and the backgrounds are a little too in focus, but they do add something in the background, good choice of using these as a background as they do not have the colour to steal the show from the blue car.

Re: Photos of 'BUZDBY' Mazda RX3Is this your car Mitch? I saw this machine just a week or two ago, Gt Western Hwy around Blacktown if memory serves me correctly. The missing headlight caught my attention.......intake for a garrett?
I don't mind the location for the pics at all, it's something a little different. Nice car too! Cheers, Rob.
