This week's PotW has been selected by sheepie...... sheepie wrote:OK - my turn to act as Guest Picture of the Week Pickerer Bloody hell this is hard!!! I thought I had one picked out earlier in the week, only to have a few turn up over the weekend that made my decision even harder - this guest gig gives a great insight into what our fearless mods go through each week! Anyway, onto the chosen pic... I've chosen this one by Thommo: Original thread here: http://www.dslrusers.com/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=32623To me, this is a great example of why still photography will never die - it shows people caught in the moment, and has so much more feeling than any moving record of the occassion could have. It also makes great use of one of my favourite lens! So well done Thommo, as others have said in the original thread this is a great pic! And thanks to Gary and the Mods for letting some of us mere mortals have the opportunity to pick the POTW - it's an honour
(You can see a larger version of this fantastic shot here. Well worth it.)

Sorry Leon but if you had not picked this photo I would have assumed you had bollocks for eyes.
A supreme example of not only Thommo’s skills but an excellent use for the 10.5mm

Excellent shot Thommo and good choice Sheepie.
The shot certainly conveys a festival atmosphere and I really like the blue background.
