Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Sorry mate, the filter makes it look like she's covered in course brown hair. I think I would much rather see the original :)

I think the strength of the filter adds an unflattering ugliness.

can you tone down the filter layer some? to my eyes, its too harsh, or sharp, and the mind cant blend soft curves and contrasting cracks...

The wolfwoman cometh!

I'm not exactly sure what the filter is supposed to do, but cleaning my monitor didn't help either.

Let's maybe go back to the original and .... just leave it alone?

Just where is that filter? (I need to know so I can avoid it)

Like the others I would prefer the original

I don't think its fair to comment on a filter in PS If I can't see the original that it came from

Ok, obvoiusly not to anyones liking. I was just 'experimenting'. Due to popular request here is the original taken on a Sony DSC F717  (Actually it was not a bad camera).

A beautiful image without the filter. I suspect you could post process the image a little further....try and make the skin glow a little more, otherwise...perfect.

I really like the filtered image. It reminds me of those Japanese cartoons etc.

I'm off to find it and give it a little try.

Cheers
