Has anyone dealt with this trader before?

They seem to have a large stock of equipment at competitive prices.

Thanks!

Yup.

Been to the shop twice, have bought a bit of gear at very good prices.

They have a large used Leica range upstairs with the enormous Gitzo display area. They are also keen and know their stuff. I found out about them from posts on photo.net Haven't traded by online or mail order with them however.

One day, when an elusive cheque arrives in the mail  I am thinking of ordering a Gitzo tripod & maybe a monopod as well from them.

I come from Hong Kong, I purchase with them before (not online). Tin cheung is very famous and I would say every expert DSLR user must heard his name in HK. There price are fair but not the cheapest one.As i know the shop Wing Shing at Mongkok should be the cheapest however they dont have online store :)

I've used their website to get CRKennedy to pricematch on Sigma lenses, but that's about it :-)

I'll have to update them with a small cross.

I ordered a Gitzo CF tripod from them, paid by Paypal via CC.

Then about 4 days later, got a short email saying - GT2540L is out of stock, would you like the rest of your order.

Emailed back - No thanks and please arrange an immediate refund - which they did willingly.

So apart from having items listed on their website for which there is no stock (and not removing them afterwards either) and taking a while to get back about an order, not too bad.

As an aside - they billed as HKBNS through Paypal - which matches a frequent ebay trader - so they are also in the ebay market.

Interesting re the tripod experience.
I bought and paid for a tripod, they said there is no stock and are offering a refund.
They can't even obtain an ETA from their suppliers.

I found this list - http://www.shriro.com.hk/downloads/deal ... tzo_HK.pdf
Gitzo distributors in HK. I have phoned a few and they tell me there is no stock.
Wonder why? Perhaps HK only stocks a few Gitzo models.

I'm looking for GT2542L
Any ideas? Poon? Anyone else?
Apart from HK, best price I can get is B&H or other USA suppliers for $100 more than HK prices.
Or pay $300 on top of that in Australia, go figure.

Didn't see this thread last time around - I've bought from the store a couple of times, the guys know their stuff, and are very courteous (unlike some shops in HK!)

In-store prices are better than the website (just mention the word "cash"), and if you go there, definitely go upstairs, just for a look around.

Cheers
