Whale watching

Postby Analog6 on Sun Jul 06, 2008 1:39 pm

Well, I had planned this weekend to go to Cabarita for whale watching.

I heard on ABC radio on Monday that people at Cabarita are seeing up to 100 whales a day go by, they are coming in very close tot he headland, and 2 have given birth there. So I am off nice and early Saturday to sit for a few hours anbd see what I can see.

I charged up all my (4) batteries, format tedall the cards, cleaned the cameras, and cleared out the bag of crap. AND THEN IT RAINED!!!

So it is next weekend, weather permitting, on Saturday as Wariwck works Sats and our Sundays are precious.

If anyone wants to join me I'll be walking out on the headland to get the high viewpoint. My mobile # is 0438 565 607.

Odille, very frustrating when you are all geared up for photography and then the weather is against you
