Adam from Broken Hill will be in Town, so what could be a better than to organize a Mini Meet at Adelaide Zoo. This will also allow the opportunity for new people to a meet and greet long standing members of DSLRUsers.com. So your expression of interest is sort.

Good to meet the new ones and all the old faces. (Even "the cougar" made a mystery appearance

Virg you will be happy to know I buggered up the RAW buffer test we did ! I Had the thing shooting RAW + Fine JPG at the same time, so it was saving 2 files of each image.... :oops:

Some of my results.

Its amazing what the 300 2.8 can pick up :roll:

**Just noticed my Auto-watermarker was in fine form without me asking it to do anything.. Oh well, too slack to repost them!

Another great day out with people who share the same interest, in a very relaxing environment

Thanks for an excellent day guys, stayed till closing time with fozzie and got some awesome overcast light on the lionesses, was very dark tho shooting as low as 1/80th @ f4 at iso 400.

Very nice results from every body... once again I was prepared to take one for the team! Had a good time and really enjoyed the laughs as well as the shooting. Question -how many of you found unexpected frames on your camera? At least when I was testing yours the subjects were a bit more interesting than a bloody streets ice cream sign...Brook - oh well user error on your part, you still lose

. Now I better go and cull the 200 junk frames and do some posting...

Not me, although this sounds like a familiar story ie. Rundle Mall sometime ago when I went to the toilet. And it is a situation whereby 'The Pot Is Calling The Kettle Black' :lol:
