I have a love for the water. I have a love for boats (power or sail). I have a love for speed, and I have a love for water sports and all things fun! Another love (apart from my fiance ) is photography...funny that really. But that's enough about me!!I get to choose POTW on this fabulous forum and it's never easy but it is...fun!! In a time where life is pretty hectic for everyone, our forum is somewhat of a virtual haven for me, where I visit to see what other like minded people (photogs) have to share...their knowledge, wisdom, and images...it's great!!! Without further ado, I'd like to announce my choice for POTW this week, and it goes to Bindii for this image; The original post here. The PP and atmosphere won me over on this one, along with the beautiful clouds and 'feel' for the image. I find it somewhat captivating, with lots to look at! Oh yeah, and on a slightly different note - if you're even considering entering the next challenge - DO IT! U have nothing to lose and lots to gain - give back to the forum what you get from it! Congrats Sue!! Would you care to share with us your PP from this fine image? I'm sure I'm not the only one who would be interested in how you have enhanced this wonderful shot!

Wow thanks Geoff (and everyone else of course).. i didn't see this until a certain little birdie sent me an email - I really must change my url for this forum so it doesn't automatically go to the index page *blush*.. :)
Ummm.. how I edited it.. I'm kinda slack as its mostly just playing and I can't remember the exact steps.. but I do know that it was done in a combination of photoshop (CS3) and Paint Shop Pro (X2).. I do know that I adjusted the levels (using the eye droppers for black and white) and upped the contrast, applied noise ninja, increased the saturation and also clarified it... if it helps I've posted the oiginal shot here without any alterations except a conversion to Jpeg (it was shot in raw) and a resize for the web... :)
