Radio PopperThought this may be of interest to many forum members regarding wireless triggering. Sounds very interesting and useful, if it works reliably.
http://www.radiopopper.com/ cheers and Happy Easter marco
Re: Radio PopperDavid Hobby tried them out the other day http://strobist.blogspot.com/2008/03/radiopoppers-not-just-for-wireless-ttl.html
Cheers What's another word for "thesaurus"?
Re: Radio PopperThanks for that link markotrov, been thinking about radio triggers to use with the 400 2.8.
Re: Radio PopperWell this gadget supposedly do TTL as well, so it's good, and there are a few models to choose from as well.

Re: Radio Popperwhen are they going to be available?.... I am getting frustrated with the ebay triggers and 430EX...
Re: Radio PopperI don't think they will be available here for a while... they are taking pre-orders but that is inside USA, canada they are in the process of being certified for use and then I think it will slowly be certified for other frequencies around the world - so Im thinking not for a couple of months.
Unless you know someone in the states you'll most likely have to wait
Re: Radio Popper
It's very unlikely (in the short-term) that the RP people are too worried about the non-US frequencies, so you'd be using illegal frequencies here with the US ones. (Same as if you buy the US-freq. PocketWizards.) cheers, juice

Re: Radio PopperOh yes, thanks Marco! I'm going to keep my eye on this thread, here's hoping the Australian release date is soon
Re: Radio PopperCan't wait.. teaches canon and nikon a lesson for holding back on technology that's possible but they can't be bothered about...

Re: Radio PopperThat will be a first. Canon 1D III
Re: Radio Popper
They say the STRUCTURE will be similar, not the prices themselves That means the P1 will be dearer than the junior, but cheaper than the P8. It doesn't mean the P1 will be about $200. Hope I'm proven wrong though. Greg
