Each week, one of the moderators or administrators selects an image that, for whatever reason, catches their eye. Please feel free to add your comments here. Vigorous discussion of the images and techniques is welcome and encouraged. Criticism of any mod for their choice is not. Please note that this is "Picture of the Week"; do not confuse that with "best picture of the week", which is a concept of which we have no understanding.

This week's PotW has been selected by PiroStitch...... PiroStitch (Wayne) wrote:Was a tough one this week, as well as any other week undoubtedly for the rest of the mods to pick, but my pick would go to ja_S_on's photo from this thread. The photo portrays the serenity of an early morning perfectly. Composition and conversion are spot on and the path leads the eye into the distance leaving the viewer wondering what's further down and wanting more. Honourable mentions for Oneputt and RDW, respectively as well. Oneputt - Shows the diversity that we sometimes forget about this continent of ours. RDW - The DOF and exposure are spot on. Would have been difficult getting the shot right from another plane.

Well done Jason!
Now you've got a strike rate probably like no other in this forum. keep it up.
I also like No. 3 immensely as well. Nearly monotone, but just a hint of colour.
