There is a new opening bridge down at Port Adelaide and Adam and I went along to see how it would look at night. Here is the result and Adam will add his shortly..

Looks good! Ive been tempted to go down and have a look, but im not confident in walking around Pt Adelaide at night without some sort of bodyguard or something, ive always wanted to get a few cars down on the docks at night as well, but again, that whole night thing and a certain group of rampaging people keeps me away!

Doctor, take some one with you if you are uneasy to venture to these parts at night. I am often mulling around and find that on most part people are really interested in what you are photographing. Another tip is to be ready to take a photo of them, they love it when they ask can you and you do.. There is so much to photograph at night it is well worth the effort and if you want you can always request a night meet with a few of us and we will be more than willing to join you. As for the colours of this bridge, they are specky and the designers have done a very good job with the colour scheme.

Virgs - this shot is stunning :)

Today was my first day at work (Port Adelaide) for the week, and the difference in road noise and vibration was exceptional, due the new bridge taking away all the heavy vehicles. I can now actually hear myself think, now this could be either good or bad news

Loving the way the colours have reflected on the water and the swoosh effect of the gates and bridge itself, well caught.

And as to going down to Pt Adelaide at night, just make sure you are wearing black and white (or not depending on how the population is down there) :P
