Photo Printer purchase...

Postby _robbo_ on Wed Aug 06, 2008 7:05 pm

I photograph a few volleyball tournaments and have photos available to purchase by participants or parents, during and after the event. So far i have just had to take the orders and then print the photos at my local Teds store after the event and post them out. I would love to be able to print on the spot and have the photos ready for customers almost straight away. I figure this will increase my business greatly...

The prints i offer are 6 x 8, 8 x 10 or 8 x 12. What are my options for printers that will do these prints with excellent quality at a price under $400-500. Also should/would i use this as an everyday printer photos from other events not needed as quickly. or should i still get them printed at a printshop given the price of all the consumables...

any help would be great guys. Thanks PS. The canon ip6700 has be suggested so far...
