I've used the filter called fibers.

This is a really nice photo Patrick. It has an ancient feel to it, something that reminds me of Greece, late 1940s.(Catch 22ish) The filter will work brilliantly with certain subjects, this is one of them.

I really like it too. It gives the image a unique feel and the focus is on the kid, but still shows an importance of the dad in the picture.

 It's Mrs Patrick here.  I like the texture too. You are right Steve, it will work on SOME images. I tried it on one of an orchid and it didn't work. Cheers Alicia

i'll go against the grain. the photo itself is stunning especially the colour treatment you gave it. but the texture ruins it imho. sorry.
